Chemical Peels 

Chemical peeling is an accelerated form of exfoliation induced by natural enzymes and naturally occurring acids. The peels that we offer at Silhouette Spa are considered “Light” peels. Light peeling agents induce a faster sloughing of the cells in the stratum corneum, to reveal new fresh skin without the down time you would experience from a deep peel.
Deep peels are known to create necrosis and inflammation of the epidermis, dermis or deeper. There can be substantial down time, scabbing, pain, and possible scarring with this type of peel.
We carry PCA Peels that offer a wide variety of peels that treat every type of skin ailment. PCA Peels are very effective and deliver great benefits and have no down time, so you can go shopping or back to work following your treatment.  Some of our PCA Peels remain on your face when you leave Silhouette Spa. It is recommended that you leave the peel on till the next morning and then wash it off.  Some people will experience peeling of the skin as early as the day after the treatment, and some will not experience any visible peeling.  Either way, the peels will slough off the dead skin and your skin will feel tighter and be visibly smoother and younger looking.
